DREA & SAMHonestly, we're just two girls a long way from home trying to get by with a little help from our friends and this blog apparently. Sam, SPARKY, is in Bloomingtom, Indiana for 10 months of the year and Drea, IGOTNOTHING, is in Boston, Mass. for those 10 months but every so often, they find themselves "comfortably" at home in Los Angeles, Ca. We're pretty cool, no lie. |

recipe for theme of the week a tuna salad to make sadness taste all the better: 2 cans of albacore tuna mayonnaise spicy brown mustard (standard yellow works as well) celery lemon juice pickle juice cayenne pepper pepper open and drain two cans of tuna. don't gag from the canned-fish smell. re-run the garbage disposal in the sink with old clementines to improve the kitchen's aroma. ocean meats to fruit meats. take a fork or spoon and put tuna into a bowl. mash up the pieces a bit, but not too much. add mayonnaise. about 2-3 tablespoons, or enough to make a fat glob in the middle of the bowl. as gross and foul mayonnaise is, it helps. squirt some spicy brown mustard in as well. add as much or as little to preference. cut and dice celery. one stalk should be more than plenty. add celery to the bowl. pour in a little bit of lemon juice and a lot more of pickle juice. again, measurement according to taste. sprinkle in some pepper and cayenne pepper. and mash it all together; or mix. keep doing so until it looks like what you think tuna salad is; no more than a few minutes of thorough mixing. cover and place in the refrigerator for a bit to chill (or not). serve on toasted wheat slices. let the melange of sea and earth wash over your taste buds. compliments tears nicely. serves two. or one very hungry person. 12:25 PM
