Honestly, we're just two girls a long way from home trying to get by with a little help from our friends and this blog apparently. Sam, SPARKY, is in Bloomingtom, Indiana for 10 months of the year and Drea, IGOTNOTHING, is in Boston, Mass. for those 10 months but every so often, they find themselves "comfortably" at home in Los Angeles, Ca. We're pretty cool, no lie.

The cold seeped into her bones as she sat in the dark.
Still, she refused to go inside, to face the reality she ran from.
Funny how one can attribute reality and fantasy to the separation of a screen door.
But maybe that's just the thing.
Everything's safer from a distance. With that film.
Close enough to watch, far enough to not let anyone hurt her.
And yet, eventually the cold is too much to handle;
Too numb for the girl who wants to feel nothing
& she succumbs to the world ever so aware of the proximity of
those who surround her, arms up, fists clenched & guarded.
