DREA & SAMHonestly, we're just two girls a long way from home trying to get by with a little help from our friends and this blog apparently. Sam, SPARKY, is in Bloomingtom, Indiana for 10 months of the year and Drea, IGOTNOTHING, is in Boston, Mass. for those 10 months but every so often, they find themselves "comfortably" at home in Los Angeles, Ca. We're pretty cool, no lie. |

Light Pollution. I'm looking up at the sky, into the unknown, the infinite abyss. What do I see? Nothing. I can't see shit. Wait, there's a star, that shining glimmer of hope, the chance of something else. What if you could see every star at night? The thought is both mesmerizing and overwhelming. I've been to remote places where you could see more stars than you can possibly imagine. It's scary and beautiful. Its different. Light pollution's a lot like ignorance. The only star you can see, the one you choose to believe in, is enough to satiate that inner happiness. We create this film to protect ourselves & we say its wrong but what do we really do to stop it? Seeing all the stars is too much. Too much truth. Too much that you're not ready to accept. But like I said, its beautiful. I wonder what the world would be like if our children could wish on all the stars simultaneously instead of the first one they saw. 10:46 PM
